About the Event
Because it's been a tough year for so many girls and families, we are waiving our registration fee for 2021 and instead asking for a suggested donation. Girls on the Run is committed to ensuring that EVERY girl will benefit from the connection, support, and physical activity she needs now more than ever.
Is your GOTR girl now in 6th grade? She can register early for our middle school program, "Heart & Sole" being offered at Potawatomi Park (open to all) and Discovery Middle School (open to DMS girls).
⭐️ Safety Is Our Number One Priority ⭐️
While we may not know what the future holds this spring, Girls on the Run is committed to nurturing and supporting girls in our community. Teams will meet in person, adhering to physical distancing guidelines to ensure everyone's safety. Below are additional details on what we have put into place:
Smaller team sizes to reduce exposure
Curriculum modifications to adhere to masking and physical distance guidelines
Mentor coaches with additional training in COVID safety policies
Individual supplies for girls to eliminate shared materials
A fun on-site mini-5K
⭐️ We Are Now At Community Parks ⭐️
Due to COVID safety restrictions, some schools are not able to hold practices. Girls are also welcome to register together with friends for one of seven convenient park locationsNot to worry! Park sites are open to all girls and offer a weekday and weekend practice day to fit more schedules.
You will see practice schedules and season start dates for park, school, and Boys & Girls Club sites in the online registration form.
If don't see your site check back again! We are still solidifying details for additional locations.
